New support item changes appreciation thread

I personally adore the new changes, they're so cool! The Quest idea is a lot of fun I think, and it gives us some new stuff to play around with. I've noticed a big increase in gold income with Ancient coin (my lil test results from me playing on the PBE are below) Such an exciting time for support mains!

Feel free to ask me any questions if you don't have a PBE account and can't experiment yourself with the new items, I'd be more than happy to try stuff.

Ancient Coin: 144 at 5 mins, backed once total 446 at 10 mins, backed once total Quest progress is KEPT when upgrading from Ancient Coin to Nomad's Medallion :D

Can you be bothered to post current Ancient Coin comparisons? Who were you using? Did you have to go into dangerous situations? What is the likelihood of this being nerfed if it is much better?

I will play a game on Live and track down gold income at for old Ancient Coin (I'll make a note every 5 mins or so to see what the gold difference over time is).

Janna (Soraka would the best for it I believe, since Emperor's Favour grants you the extra gold and mana on kills/assists as well and Raka's global heal works with it)

Not really, the pickup range is pretty convenient. You may take an auto or two walking up on occasion, but the coin seems to stay for a fair amount of time so walking up while their adc is about to last hit a low-health minion is a good strat.

Only the designers behind the new item could tell you that one. I doubt it though, it doesn't seem oppressive or super strong.
