Look guys, you have to choose.

You have to choose which you want. LCS diversity or balanced dynamicQ(normal ranked). You can't have both.

With LCS diversity(balancing around high skill play) champions like master yi will be considerably more powerful in low elo, but he will be viable in LCS. (only as an example. Don't rip my head off) It will be more "true balancing" since everything is played to a close to optimal level there and probably all champions will be viable in high elos. High skillcap champions will be nerfed to not be as oppressive and insane when mastered. Also a game balanced around high skill play will reward you for being highly skilled and it's a coinflip if an OP champ get's placed on your team, it's going to hinder you at about the same rate that it will help.

With dynamicQ balancing most champions will fluctuate at a 50% winrate but lcs diversity will be nonexistent. It also won't be "true balancing" and people who master high skillcap champions will climb with 60-65% winrates. (or more)

I'm asking this question becasue the community seems to want both. It is impossible to have both LCS and dynamicQ balancing, so if you had to choose, which would you pick and why?

I am totally down for champs being balanced at pro play. It would get me net buffs for my pool. i am a voli, naut main, plus other unplayed champs. These champs would have to be have many of the nerfs that happened to them undone to be pro viable.

Although an argument of which lane they should be viable in would need to take place. Naut was a professional jungler until riot nerfed then a few seasons messed with the kit numbers.

Balance complaints from anyone below Master, maybe Diamond, are irrelevant, because they most likely just don't know enough to realize their complaint is idiotic. Riot said they never intended this game to be revolving around casual play. It's designed for professional play. Hence, just balancing around said Diamond/Master+/LCS level is fine.

Riot has already stated that they choose high-level competitive play, at least in the short term.

Finally, while we’ve heard some comments suggesting otherwise, it’s never been a goal for us to make League more casual. We believe League is for hardcore gamers, and mistakenly believed we could offer real competition to all parties with the same experience. Our long-term vision is to be a global sport, and our goal remains the same: to offer competitive experiences for all players, from solo competition to focused, competitive teamplay. Many things are a further ways out, but that’s where we’re headed.

just like all pro sports they make over 50% of their money on ad revenue and then the other chunk on merch and then the rest comes from "gate sales" "ticket sales" as for riot would be skins/champs
