If every single champion had a 50% winrate and a similarly average pick/ban rate who would you main? In this situation the 'power' of a champion means nothing because everyone will be relatively the same. OP/UP/Broken do not exist. Every champion is equal.
That would only happen if Riot pushes champion specialisation (as in, instead of the bare minimum class system we have now we get a more detailed and complex categorisation system) while also introducing more fields for the champs to work on (more jungle camps, bigger lanes/maps, more items etc), which is exactly OPPOSITE to what they are trying to promote for the past few years.
That's why the META centric nature is dead set in LoL, there is no turning back now.
