Being reported for nothing?

Is there anything Riot has in line for winning a game, saying NOTHING in game, and then being reported? I just won two games, but received the popup that I was reported for harassment, when I actually didn't say anything at all - all game.

The reporting system is actually very good at handling false reports. If you feel it's falsely targeting you I would suggest making a support ticket. Riot will get everything figured out.

I cant believe u got a popup! I always treat "report bullies" as though they have zero power to impact me and honestly it better be that way. I have never received a warning popup but I have had people threaten reporting to get their way. One guy, this is true, literally called me a "pussy" when I had said nothing all game. I then called him "retarded" and guess what he said? "REPORTED!"

Things like this should never impact you. It is the height of infuriating to have a little report bully actually be given authority.

Good news! If you said nothing, then you have nothing to worry about! At least, for those games.

However, it's important to note that those pop-ups are not displayed based on a single game's reports. They occur when there is a "spike" in reported games against your account. As an example:

Every player is reported sometimes. The average player receives reports in 3-5% of their games. Assuming that Player A is on the low-side of average, he gets reports in about 3 games of every hundred. If, over some particular week, he gets reported a lot - say about 10% of his games, one of those reported games will trigger a pop-up for him, based on the sudden increase in reports against him. Additionally, those pop-ups have a delay of some unknown time between when they're triggered and when they display.

So, while it's genuinely doubtful that you have anything to worry about regarding those two games, it's also doubtful that those games were the ones that triggered the pop-up.

Thanks for the responses. Well like I said it happened 2 games in a row. I was wondering if they were all linked to just one game or something? I dunno, I am not a toxic player at all. Soon as people start calling names the worst thing I'll do is just mute people. I watch a lot of pro streams, and I find they do the same.

I got a warning after being reported for verbal abuse because I asked 0-3-0 top to ward the river before pushing. The same guy called me trash and retarded but that's fine.

Being the jungler gets you reported a lot, which is why I quit the role. That 3-5% only applies if you also play lane roles and roles that get tons of kills and therefore rarely get reported.
