Riot, why can't we be told when our reports lead to a punishment?
I don't report very often. Well... I report every afk/dc just in case leaverbuster misses them. When I do report it is usually when someone intentionally feeds. No, not when someone has a bad game, I mean they intentionally walk to the enemy team to feed them kills. Or, a teammate decides they want to sit in base, dance and talk shit on the team all game. After reporting these players why can't I get feedback from Riot saying these players have been punished? I would rather know that my reports actually accomplished something rather than thinking "well... I reported him... hope he doesn't get to continue fucking people over". There is nothing I hate more than being told to just have faith in something. I don't want to have faith that these players got punished. I want evidence that my reports accomplish something and that no one else has to deal with that player's bullshit.
I remember one match in which a player repeatedly made death threats toward a teammate and this continued into the post game screen. I took screenshots and sent them to Riot and got the generic "We will investigate your report and take any actions we feel are necessary. Please keep in mind; we cannot disclose any disciplinary actions that may be taken due to privacy reasons." Why? Why can't you tell me that this player got punished? He made fucking death threats all game. I want to know that I am not wasting my time with these reports and if I am I want to stop wasting time on this game.
