YES THIS ^^^ I hate it when they say this... Like yea Raka can deal damage, if you build damage... It mostly happens when im Nami, the most i can do is land a bubble and use my heal, the E is on you to use and my ult is situational. Supports are not meant to do damage, when they do damage they get nerfed.

That happened to me once. I was playing Leona, and me and my ADC got level 1 ganked. ADC dies immediately, before he could react, and I run back to tower. enemy soraka gets too close, hits tower range, and I stun lock her till she dies. About 12 seconds later, Evelyn appears from behind my tower, and I do the same. Then ADC gets back to lane. After a few minutes of laning, Soraka is at low health, and Jinx is off ganking top for some reason. Soraka sits behind tower and backs, so I go in and kill her. My kill count is now three, and all my kills are honest. Next time Jinx hits lane, we go in, and I accidently steal the kill when my W explodes just before my ADC got his last hit off. I apologized, mentioned the delayed damage on the W, and promised not to do it again. That is 4 kills, with only one having been possible for my ADC to take. Teamfight stage hits, and top lane is still farming. Evelynn comes to get him, and I rush top to help. I got there too late to save him, and instead finish off Evelynn in revenge. At this point ADC goes "OMG Leona, 5 KS wow, you are support scrub" ._. wat? No respect for the plays or kills a support can get while ADC is away. Ever.

Most recently, adc doing absolutely nothing while enemy tris freely walks up and procs/detonates her E. Even if I go in off that, no way to win the trade. Then they whine about... everything basically.

Most ADC's (me included) usually just stand still auto-attacking and will only move if the wave pushes or is pushed against. Other then that its up to the Support to do everything and that is not fair to the support. I am at least trying to learn how to AA move AA move AA move, but its seems not many ADC's want to learn that.

We're not gods, we all make mistakes no matter what role we're playing. If you commonly feel like you're getting harassed by your carry or others on your team, maybe you should review the most common factor - yourself.

I'm a bottom lane main. Some days I support, some days I carry. I find that 9 times out of 10 if I'm getting harassed, it's not just because the other guy is a jerk, but because I really am playing poorly.

If you're not a competetive player, relax and just auto-mute someone who is being negative. But if you care about your progression and getting better, take it with a grain of salt. Take a step outside of yourself and see what you could be doing differently.

If you see a game on Steam with 4.9k reviews with 97% of them being positive, you can probably count on it being a great game. Doesn't mean that it'll be your cup of tea.

I know that i was just joking around in the original post because i really am ready to die so my ADC can live, most of the time though its not seen as me sacrificing myself its seen as me feeding. They don't realize that my Death score is really the amount of times they were out of position and i had to save them. I get a ton of really good and nice ADC's so i know that its not always them. This was just a joke off a few games where i could do nothing right, i was always "noob support plz report".

So, how often do you sacrifice yourself for you carry by diving at the enemy so they don't catch up to the carry, and proceed to watch your carry dive in as well? Worst ever situation, because then they blame you for getting them killed.

Oh man i do it all the time if i feel it is literally the only way to save my carry, i will use everything at my disposal to save them. I exhaust land a CC use flash and my ult, it is so devastating when i see my carry jump in as well... they think just because i landed CC that they can win the trade, well that is not always the case. Its worse when my ADC continues to get into bad situations and thinks they can get away with it simply because they havent died yet, they dont realize my deaths are basically their deaths.

Oh, no, I honestly don't bother to read usernames on the new boards anymore. XD

I get the Leona mentality. I used to have it without wavering. These days, I assess whether or not I'm going to be more valuable in a teamfight/objectives/defense than others on my team. Factors include estimated DPS, abilties, positioning, utility, etc.,

That's what I really believe the most fun aspect of being a support is about, being the tactician. If you've got teammates that can support that, awesome. Sometimes you get those people where there really is nothing you can do because they're just venting their frustration.

I've been screamed at and degraded almost my entire life by the people around me. Eventually you learn what you're really responsible for, and to brush your shoulders off to the rest and carry on.

When laning i always prioritize my ADC, the damage potential they bring to late game is too important to let them fall behind. In teamfights i focus on healing, peeling, or setting up kills for either the highest damage person on our team or the one with the highest utility. Like Draven does more damage then Lee Sin per AA, but if i allow/help Lee Sin go in we can probably get more out of it then if i stood back waiting to peel/heal for Draven.

Lol yea but i play Support more then ADC. Most ADC's i play with dont realize im dead because their terrible positioning that caused me to die so they could live. Then they get mad when it keeps happening, but if they die its entirely my fault. I will say that i get really cooperative ADC's, and when i ADC (im a huge ADC noob) i get very understanding and helpful Supports too.
