Why is it that new champions are easy to learn while old ones take more time?
As someone who has played a lot of this game over just 2 years, I've seen how easy it is to pick up on a 
or even a 
over a 
or 
.
Don't get me wrong, all the above are insanely strong but why is it that Jinx and Lucian are easier than Corki and Sivir?
Could it be because of the nerfs Riot has done to these two older champs vs the newer champs lack of nerfs; probably. But it still gets at me that Even though Corki's ultimate is fantastic, I find it undermined by just Jinx's Q which doesn't seem as strong but unlike Corki, it doesn't have that long of a reload time. Corki's only movement that he has was nerfed hard from when I first even saw him. It use to be faster, and the effect would last longer, yet now its just a steady move along that deals damage for about a second or so and yet it costs 100 mana. Lucian, however, may not do much with his displacement but the passive activation (though it was nerfed from its primary function in release) it still gives the bonus damage that rivals Corki's. Am I saying Corki doesn't stand a chance against a Lucian or Jinx? No, in fact he may win with no problem. The real issue is that Corki's abilities are so hard to learn that it makes him a easier to kill opponent. Sivir isn't as bad but even she has received nerfs to her ultimate (decreasing the range of the MS buff and her AS buff when she uses her W). Sivir is strong, don't get me wrong, but if she received a nerf to her AS bonus that only increased to 80%. My real question is why this gets nerfed and why is it that Jinx's Q passive still works on turrets. She easily gets 30% AS boost for free at level 1.
Now, I may be comparing champions but that's just to let you know that:
- Corki's passive doesn't even work on turrets while Lucian's still does.
- Champs like
and 
are even in this debate (even Lucian and Jinx are even).
Each champ has their own ups and downs. Just like how Kalista's OP due to her ability to be nearly capturable. Or how Teemo can blind a opponent from anywhere and kill them almost instantly with a insane AS boost.
Just try and take a marksman other than 
or 
bot. There are plenty others. Does anyone even play 
anymore?
