I don't even want pay, I just want to write stuff for you. I wanna write lore that everyone can enjoy, and also to shut up all those other people who constantly whine about the lore. I know you'll never respond to this, but I just want you to know that I wuv all of you and want to be able to write a piece of official lore every once in a while.

You can definitely start writing on the story&art board here and get some recognition, then hopefully you'll be able to make your way in.
Instead of offering to work for free and screw over working writers why don't you put your portfolio together and actually submit yourself. There's a lot of money to be made writing about elves and dragons for these people. Don't mess with that.
