An open letter to Riot Meddler

Dear Riot Meddler

You probably don't remember me as you read god knows how much people per days, but i still decided to write this. Write this letter to thank you for everything you did to the league of legends community

months ago you said that rioters don't go to the board anymore because everyone despises them and attack them constantly, and i feel bad for missquoting you. However you should know that everybody close to me does not know a single person that respect you more than me

i admire your job and everything you do for league, i wouldn't missquote you on purpose, truth is that i simply didn't check an information that i received from a friend, why? because i didn't care if you would nerf spellthief edge or not, i just wanted you to change the coin quest and eventually you did it

i couldn't care less if you nerfed frost queen or not, coin quest was just too bad and that was the information i wanted you to get i didn't know you would put that much importance into quotes and that's why i didn't check the information, and for that i apoligize

the main goal of this letter is to give you hope for your job, you HAVE TO KNOW that you're doing good Everyone complains everyday, but truth is that league has never been so balanced

i play this game since irelia release in 2010, i achieved master tier rank in season 5 and in season 7, i witnessed multiple attempt of balancing the game from riot a lot of time but it was pointless. Everytime a new champion would become broken and replace a former broken champion, everytime a broken champion would become so the most useless champion for months. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=293417 Zileas game design rules were bypassed so much time that it didn't make sense, riot had no idea what they were doing.

But now, look at Lucian, look at Lulu, you're managing to turn former permabanned FOTM into viable and balanced picks. And morever you're not letting a single champion rotting in hell, Gnar Vladimir Kalista Nautilus (buffed in next patch) Singed Garen Mundo Cho'gath Diana. I can't list them all but you give love to every champion that are unplayable and i admire this will of wanting to balance the game instead of "X had his time in the spotlight

I play Dota2 Yes i do, after december 2013 the time when yasuo got released i grew tired of league's pointless struggle against endless imbalance and after discovering Rubick the spellstealer i couldn't stop myself from playing the game. Icefrog nerfs and buffs make sense in every patch, and what's more he changed so many heroes in one patch

And this is exactly what's happening right now in league. We have so many champions changed, the mundo buffs on PBE came from nowhere i didn't see them comming, and it's insane the way you did them giving mundo a niche against AP champion Unlike before: -a lot of champions are changed-changes touch the right champions -the changes are done IN AN INTENDED WAY league isn't nerfing or buffing champions randomly, you know what you're doing instead of "we're going to reduce this by X amount and see what happens"

So in the end this whole letter can be summarized by this: league will eventually reach perfect balance if you keep up the good work and continue to do what you're doing. Thank you for everything you do, i speak for myself and the people that share my feeling

i love league, and i can't stand to not have fun by playing it, but right now it's incredibly fun. Long duration teamfights are back for instance, i have the fun i had in season 2, while 5 months ago i hated it i still played it, and now i'm playing it because i honestly find it fun
