For a company with as many teams as they have, I kind of wonder why League is in this poor state...

Remember when League introduced Dominion? Twisted Treeline? ARAM? Team Builder? Butcher's Bridge?

They were all fun modes.

As much as I want to nag about gameplay it seems that there is a bigger lack in maps in this game. Even if Summoner's Rift is the only map they want to use, why not make seasonal changes to it? Why is there no team that works primarily on maps and tries to keep them up to date?

This was one of the arguments Riot brought when they got rid of Crystal Scar. They said that it was an outdated map. Though it did have some cool effects in the back ground, there were some obvious points on the map that needed adjustments. There were certain spells, towers, items, and even the center of the map that all needed adjustments. Apparently, the update to the Summoner's Rift took up all the team for over a year, but now that its done why is there no team for maps?

Twisted Treeline could use some refreshing visuals and a better jungle. If they need or could increase the size of the map to just make a larger and more intricate jungle, I'd be fine with it.

Crystal Scar's very own summoner spell is still not effective, and since this mode does get brought back sometimes fixing this spell would be effective. For a mode that tries to be "fast paced" and does this, a spell that takes just as long as any other spell to be used is not fine. They fixed this for ARAM (need to fix this for Twisted Treeline) but its a must for Dominion. Summoner spells need to have less of a time limit (even Flash) and Teleport should work on "friendly" turrets...

ARAM is okay... except now there's an unused version of it that would be fun to be seen implemented to the mode. Randomly put into Howling Abyss to fling snowballs at each other, or in Butcher's Bridge and fling oranges at each other. This gives the mode something over the others, a reason to play it.

Team Builder was not remade into the new champ select, it was discarded so that everyone would "have to" play either Draft pick or Blind pick. Team Builder made its place known in League and was quickly loved by Casual players because of how it could be used. Allowing casuals to just play the game rather than be forced into positions and have the feeling you're playing in Ranked when its suppose to be a Casual game.

League of Legends is going (or is) growing stale. Its been around for FAR too long and people have played the regular mode a good few hundred times. Its nice to see games that have people doing duo top for a change, brings back those fond memories of when I'd started League and I would face two champs top with a partner. I want to play Dominion more, and would had but I wanted to get Diamond teir stats on ARAM first... I liked Butcher's Bridge and liked some's idea to have it and Howling Abyss be random maps you would play (making the mode more random in general). I feel like Twisted Treeline could just use some love, more than just once a year.

After I get a new batter in this computer, I might come back to League. Maybe.
