So I'm punished for having to fix another's mistake?

How much sense does it make that I join a ranked game lobby and within ~2 mins I've ended up with a yorick jg, double adc. But worse than that, I HAVE to dodge, I mean I physically can not put myself through another game of this. I think there should be a option in ranked to votekick people in the lobby and then specify a reason. Votekicking would be post champ-select but before loading screen, and you would have 30 secs to initiate a vote kick and the vote kick would be 30 secs to respond to vote. If the vote passes, the player is kicked from the lobby, and they are prevented from joining ranked as if they dodged a game. I realize there may be situations in which people may just not like someone and kick them, but it's more fair than having to deal with 40 mins of a team with 2 adcs, troll jgs, double mids, (you get the idea). It's just not fair that I have to dodge ranked and get automatically stamped a "Leaver" by Riot. There are situations in which I HAVE to leave, as playing at lower elo with trolls makes it impossible to win games. Please feel free to help me perfect this idea and give feedback as to how to make it better, basically the idea is to stop people from troll picking in RANKED ONLY. The option to votekick will not be available in normals, as there is no real penalty for LOSING a norm. Alright guys well thanks for reading and please let me know what you think.

I just had an idea. What about a Vote to Cancel Game system? If enough players vote to cancel, the lobby gets disbanded and players placed back in queue.

EXACTLY. The benefits outweigh the costs by a vast amount. The fact of the reality is there IS an elo hell, and without a system to actively stop it, there will always BE, an elo hell. Because when someone gets reported for trolling, they just say, "Oh I notice riot sent me a notification about my being reported...but that's it, hmph I guess I'll just troll another game, Proceeds to join next game as last pick and says "Mid or feed" well I guess I'll feed since all I have to worry about is getting reported 99 more times before they temp ban me or something." There needs to at least be another section for why you can report someone, like, "Purposely not following the meta". Idk, just a thought. I'm up for anything that stops people afking, leaving, or trolling ACTIVELY or BEFORE the game starts. Like, before the match even starts you can tell who is trolling or whatnot based on their picks, and if you have, for example, a double mid, you should be able to request a moderator review the game and give you loss prevention or something at the very least. Loss prevention was a great idea, too bad it doesn't fix the real reason why people want it.

Yeah man i agree sometimes you have to dodge...but there's no fix to it yet. Trolls are just there..but there's not justifiable fix.

I am on board with this idea 100%. I think they are nervous about a system like this being abused, but the reality is that NOT having it gets abused even more.
