Is Riot going to force the new client on low spec players?

I havn't found one discussion on the boards yet addressing the slow performance of the new client (With a actual fix other than the condescending, "have you tried the troubleshooting page" from Riot minions) on low spec players PCs, like it delays when you accept queue pop, it takes like 3-5 mins on post game screen, if someone dodges champ select and queue pops immediately you click accept and it says there was an error accepting queue, among many other issues. I would think before they discontinued the legacy client that we all miss so dearly, they would work out the kinks of the new one. Nope. Still bad client. I just wanna know how to make this operate better on my PC. I have low spec enabled, re-installed, done it all. Graphics cards, nothin helps.

Go to the settings and enable Low Spec Performance mode, it doesn't fix everything, in fact the new client sucks because it lacks a lot of features the old client had. Instead we basically get flashy client LCS plays in our face because thats what the client is meant to feel like and it blows big donkey nuts.

Why would you make a prototype of something and release it for testing and beta for ppl then eventually make it mandatory without fixing the BIGGEST issue that 90% of the community has said, THE CLIENT IS LAGGY!!! To be honest I saw little/no difference with low spec mode, I think they put it there to make us think its helping but its not. Riot has a thing for never addressing or taking responsibility for issues with the game.
