Bard and the Dodges

I tried to play bard this week since he is free, i got into teambuilder, the adc leaves the group as soon as i joined. Next adc shows up, two seconds later he dodges, then the next and the next and the next.

I had literally 6 adcs dodge the q as soon as they sae bard support.

Then this jinx finaly stayed, i ended up doing poorly and proved the dodgers to be right.

Is this a message riot?

I know you can't judge since people don't know how to play Bard to his max potential, and i am sure some people will become good at him, however it means something when 6 ADCs left the group as soon as they saw a Bard support...

People don't like bard because he is currently the least useful champion in the game. Normal winrates are the lowest in the game still, pros agree... He just isn't working right now. I'm waiting for buffs to play him again, because he IS a blast. He's just a blast that you're probably gonna lose with.

I wouldn't want to play with a support i know will leave in order to go wander around... useless.

People do not like bard because many people play him wrong they do not know how to position the ult how to set up the portals and how to set up the stuns or know the right time to roam , When bard came out i mained him for so long i had so many easy Barron steals and dragon steal with his ult sometimes the jungler doesn't even need to smite it, i suggest when u go in a game tell them u are a good bard u know how to play him effectively

Bard has already gotten a very negative stigma, so people see him and groan.

I have to admit I am one of those people, and I have already dodged a ranked game to avoid having to lane with one.

I've not seen a ranked team with a Bard win yet (in my personal games, not counting ones I am not a part of, so it isn't exactly saying much), so my personal experiences are negative with bard.

I've watched pro support players (only from Korea and NA granted) tank their own LP from trying to spam bard to learn him, then give up, and vocally say he isn't very good, except 1 (lustboy seems to not hate him, but says he isn't sure what to think of him yet).

He is a new champ, which makes people want to play him, but he isn't easy mode, so people either try to play him exactly the same and do poorly, or try to go the extreme and do something they would never do (the roaming constantly) and do poorly, so people just assume it is the champion.
