...DON'T GET ON LEAGUE. ESPECIALLY DON'T GO IN RANKED. How exactly is this a hard concept?

What if my internet is fine and the issue is the person in China playing on the NA server creating lag in that game..... and i freeze from it.... should i not play??

Oh, so I answer your question in a funny way and you have to be rude. Yet I am the one banned in game, probably because of people like you that would report someone for saying anything in game. If I answered a question like this in game to you, I'm certain you would report me. You should lighten up a bit.

And you have misunderstood how the ISPs are going to change their service to "comply"

I do get what you are saying but some other things to keep in mind are....

People have been experiencing sever connection issues now and then from Riot's side. (Though this isn't really any one persons fault it just happens)
Internet might just be bad out of no where i.e. a short in the internet cable causing internet to crash unexpectedly and randomly every now and then and then work great for the rest of the day (I have this issue once every few days, Trust me its extremely frustrating seeing I don't even have access to said cable)
Lastly we are mortal beings who have yet to master the ways of the interwebs and not everyone has the money for the best service available. Crap happens deal with it. I know its frustrating as hell losing because someone dc'd but that doesn't mean you should tell them not to play due to it. Just report for AFK if you must and move on.

I will say that I sympathize with those issues, I frequently had connectivity issues with Riot, they seem to be better now, but who knows what the future will hold.

I will however say that there are those people who in game will tell you and I quote. "I've been having super bad lag problems all day, I have no idea what's going on so I can't fix it."

Though admittedly few and far between, those people do exist, and it drives me up the wall. If you're having issues, it's not a typical scenario like your cable problem, you can't fix it, and you acknowledge that it's happening, why exactly would you continue to play and hope that it just stops? Even go play normals, if you're lagging up a storm expectedly you're going to probably lose games, why risk your rating while hoping that it fixes itself?

If it a problem consists all day the whole day then I get the "Why do you even play then? You know it will lag" but if it's an event that only happens every few days and even then only once in a while with no lag issues just an out of nowhere no internet for like 5 min can have a huge effect on the game but is also out of their power and yet it's fine for the rest of the day.

So should they just not play altogether?

No, We all take the risk knowing that for some random reason we may disconnect or HAVE to leave.

Now if you dc 3 games in a row then yes just give up playing for a day a try again tomorrow. If it is an daily issue that makes you leave 5 our of your 10 games or 3 out of your 10 games then yes I agree with the OP

Note: I'm not huge into Ranked and totally don't wanna screw someone over with a random 2 min dc haha so yeah I choose not to go ranked because of my internet but normals I feel that anyone is allowed to do as long as they don't dc like 5 times a day.

We're arguing different points, I'm not saying you should stop playing because you get a sporadic problem that pops up that's fine. My problem is that if you're ping is for some reason sitting at like 250 all day long, and you keep disconnecting from the game, I don't get why you would keep going, and yet people do.

Like I said though, those people aren't very common, your kind of issue is far more common and it's why I don't report afk unless a person clearly was afk, or were having the problems I talked about as opposed to your type of problems.

Whenever I have seen server instability it effects **all ** of the players in the game. I keep seeing people trying to blame the servers when it really is on their end. Either they are running a computer that is not meant for gaming or are sharing an internet connection. (Damn you netflix) I have seen games where there is 2 DC's, on 1 team or 1 on each team, and that is not the server's fault either. Your second and third point is sound though. Personally, I play a non-ranked game first: mainly to warm up my last hitting but also to check stability.

I agree that people tend to do that a lot and I had no intention in doing so. I simply wanted to make it aware that it isn't always the player's fault and things do happen.

There are other ways to get around these problems like duoing to decrease the chances of running into someone that may potentially dc. Both sides can do something and take precautions.

If you decide to single which is just as fine as duoing then just know you may run into an issue.

Is it unfortunate? Absolutely Is it fixable or avoidable? No, unless Google or someone decides to give away free Top Tier internet service (it won't ever happen). Just tear up a bit and punch your picture of Satan (Teemo) and move on.
