I got put in low priority queue for 5 games for being afk for one minute

basically here's what happened, the game was 1-6 and they had a fed broken ass jungle fizz at 5 minutes so our mid went afk and then basically our whole team agreed to and let them push mid. LITERALLY ALL FIVE of my teammates went afk and sold items etc just minutes into the game and i went afk too although i was moving around at fountain repeatedly. i cant believe how severely i was punished for such a small thing as that when everyone in the game was cool with it and i didnt even leave the game.

MAN! You are one of those super-rare but definitely true cases who unjustly were punished for ONE SINGLE 1 MIN afk!

RITO how dare you do this to this guy! He clearly only went afk one single time and it was even justified!!!

That's just like all the other people posting on the forums who get severe chat restrictions just because they told someone the truth about their abilities!

Riot is so unfair.

All the unjust bans and permabans....and now THIS!

so you actually think its fair that one afk should warrant such a harsh punishment? what if my computer has malfunctioned or even the client had messed up, god knows that never happens though right? that was my first afk since the system came up and they acted that swiftly its ridiculous

It's funny, since the introduction of the new system, I've had about 3 AFKs on my main account - twice from my computer deciding to update itself and once just last night from my internet shutting itself off for no discernible reason.

And somehow, I still haven't received anything more than the "I accept" message. This is the normal state - yet you expect people to believe you received an LPQ from just one afk?

but hey man, you know you can turn off automatic updates and tell it to only notify you if there are updates available, right? cant change anything about ISP outages but you can change the update settings.

Yeah, I just forget about it when it's not in the middle of shutting itself down. It's not usually a problem, but there were a few weeks there where it was updating every 3-4 days.

its ez: go to control panel > Windows update > change settings. just put it on "Check for updates but let me chose when to download and install them" instead of "install updates automatically"
