Just a question regarding Hextech crafting. If this is the case, it's not fair. It's already unfair that you can get loot that's for champions you own if you own almost all of them, but owning every one would mean you get nothing even when you disenchant.
Yes, you get duplicates, and at this moment champion shards/essence are completely useless for those who have all the champions. There is talk to in the future alter the use of champion essence (or at least add), but atm it's how it is. They recognize the problem, along with the fact that no one can get keys, and aren't currently doing anything from what I know.
