If you like speed running and building your toons I highly recommend both Mark of the Ninja and Dark Souls.
Mark of the Ninja, it's a 2D stealth and speed running oriented game (you can still kill people though), and as the game progresses on you get more ninja techniques under your disposal and unlock new gears by completing challenges set in each region with each emphasises and strengthens a particular play style.
In Dark Souls, it's an action RPG, pretty sure everyone should at least heard of it by now. The first few hours is gonna be painful for some since it doesn't really bother to try and explain things to you besides the fundamentals. It's intentionally done so for both gameplay and lore tired reasons which imo is quite cool. Once you get yourself familarised with the game, you literally just run from places to places minding your own little things (grinding resources or searching for hidden armour/weapons) and occasionally kill a few mobs, explore every corner/secrets of the world, and ofc, challenges yourself against bosses.
Or you can try Shanks 1 and 2, which is also done by the studio who made Mark of the Ninja. It's a straight up 2D beat 'em up with some upgrades and all tied into it, but unlike Mark of the Ninja whose progression system at least somewhat resembles that of a RPG's, sorta, I wouldn't say the same about Shank though.
EDIT: Well I completely forgot the the casual tag, but still, I still recommend Mark of the Ninja.
