I had this dream a while ago.

I've had a dream where I have a wife, and she cheated on me a bit before Christmas. I learned about it late at night on Christmas Eve while it was snowing, and decided that I was going to have a bit of revenge. My wife begged and pleaded with me not to go, and apologized profusely. So I pushed her into a wall and walked out the door. I went to the guys house (he had a lot of money and lived in a mansion) and knocked on his door. He came out and asked why I was there. I told him it was to "settle what you did to me. Or rather, what you did to my wife." Then he said he was sorry that he could give my wife something I couldn't. So I told him to step out into the snow and fight me man on man. He told me that wasn't a good idea, because he knew tae kwon do or some other martial art. I told him I didn't care, and to fight me. So he finally complied. Stepping out into the snow, he turned to close the door behind him. Then I pulled out a revolver I had hidden in the pocket of my heavy snow jacket. He turned around and saw I was holding the revolver. Before he could say anything, I shot him in the chest. He fell down backwards into the snow, slipping on his own frozen steps. He looked down to the bright red color flowering on his chest, then looked at me. My watch beeped, 12:00 AM. Christmas day. I gave him a last "Merry fucking Christmas." before shooting him again in the head. I then went home to my wife. She saw the revolver in my hand as I walked through the door, and asked me what I had done. I pistol whipped her with the butt of the gun in response. She started to scream and ran to the kitchen in our house. I followed her of course, but at a slow pace. She rummaged through the drawers and found a knife. She turned around and stabbed me in the shoulder. Without moving, I pushed her to the floor and tore the knife out of my shoulder. Ignoring the pain, I shoved the knife into the cutting board and grabbed a spare wrench on the floor that I was using to fix our busted sink pipe earlier. She tried to stand up, but I hit her in the back before she ran away. She stumbled, and kept trying to run. She started running to the back door, but looking at me when I was chasing her, failed to see the large cabinet in the hallway and hit her head on the top open shelf. Dazed, she ran to what she thought was the door to go outside, but instead ran to our bedroom. When she saw where she was, she turned to see me walking in. I walked through the door, our fireplace casting an almost demon-like glow around me. I asked her if this was what it was like, when she decided to show that she didn't really love me. She begged and pleaded with me, as I continually hit her again and again with the wrench until it started to dent. With my hands coated in blood, and my wife nothing but a bloody corpse with a caved in head on the bed, I walked back to our kitchen. I poured myself a cup of eggnog, heated it up a bit in the microwave, and added some nutmeg to the top of it. At this time, my pug Marley came in to the kitchen. She must have been hiding because she was scared. I reached down to pet her, and grabbed my eggnog. I walked into my living room, with the only source of light being my fireplace. As I went to sit in my chair, police sirens began to blare and shine their red and blue light into my house. I sat down in my chair, and Marley jumped into my lap, obviously scared out of her wits. I pet her softly as I drank my warm eggnog as the police busted down my front door. I don't know what it means.
