Just got this survey pop-up after an ARAM.... only issue is there was no Bard. In fact, I have never played against Bard.
It is cool that Riot wants feedback but they should at least make sure the champion in the question was in the player's match -.-

flibitydoo1 votes doesn't roam the map though. If anything ,she's more dependant on sticking with her support more than any other due to her soulbound mechanics.
and if you do encounter one that does, they are seriously gimping themselves.
And her sticking to her support is a good thing. Alone, pretty much all ADCs will get bursted down and killed due to their low health pool and low burst damage. It's when there's a support to eat the damage or hold an enemy down for the ADC to DPS that an ADC really shines.

And I'm pretty sure the surveys are distributed randomly, which is important to maintaining useful and meaningful data. Even players who've never played with/against a Bard have something useful to input there - the fact that you haven't speaks to his play distribution.

EDIT: They will know quantitative analysis (like distribution) internally. What they're looking for is qualitative info

My lack of opinion - due to lack of information - can be meaningful, depending on what types of things the survey is looking at. But there's a step beyond my lack of information regarding Alberta - I am not part of a community that involves Alberta.
Your example is more akin to offering League surveys to Starcraft players - not only will they not have information with which to form opinions, but that lack of opinion will be meaningless, since their community is not relevant.

Yes, it is discussing the survey methods. Thus my comment regarding survey methods. In case you missed it, allow me to quote here:

Any form of sorting or limiting survey participants runs the risk of returning biased data - which is already possible with the self-selective nature of surveys. As such, rather than "sorting" the distribution of the survey, it's safer and more effective to simply apply a random distribution across the community.

Certainly they'll know how many games he's played in. With a little work, I'm sure they can figure out how many players have yet to encounter him. That doesn't say much about what those players think about not having encountered him, or what opinions they may have developed based on that.
And without knowing the specific purpose of the survey, it's pretty much impossible to say that that data cannot be useful.
