Look at her right wrist. The way they made the model, they didn't bother adding a joint there, instead, they just warp the model until her hand is facing upright, even though it distorts the mesh -- I traced over her arm in black, so you can see it easier under the orb.
They made a new model for this skin, and that's the quality you get. Neato.
But hey, Riot cares deeply about their game, and puts their best effort into everything, right?

Just another example of Riot being a typical F2P cash grab though, as irrelevant as it seems. Just imagine how many other corners they're cutting, and how much they're half-assing everything else.

Well, you're playing one right now, too. This game is about as half-assed as they come, but it's sitting on a good foundation since Riot wasn't shitty at first. Same thing that's happening with WoW.

So, Riot makes their money off of RP sales (and LC$). If you rework a champion and hype up their new kit and visuals, people will be excited about it and buy the champ and skins so they can play the new thing. If they didn't make money off of champs, then they would just abandon the old, out-dated ones.
