It serves no other purpose besides making fun of the enemy team when they play poorly or trash talking. It has no reason to be in the game and only breeds toxic behavior. I'd say just remove it from ranked, (Ranked), it's just another outlet for people to be toxic and ruin someones game.
The reason for All-Chat is to create a Fun environment. Sometimes to Compliment the Enemy on a good outplay. Sometimes the Enemy can create a Non-Stressful Match by making Casual conversation about a new movie.
In Blizzard Entertainment's Heroes of the Storm All chat isnt Enabled. it makes the game pretty dull sometimes. I am sure you have had some good times with All Chat, and if not, then try to be the Convo starter.

Really? I've seen really fun things in all chat. Sure, it might eliminate some toxicity, but it would also remove some sportsmanship that can happen. And in any case, I don't think that having a reason to want to beat someone more is really that bad to have.
All chat, with sportsmanlike behavior on both teams, makes for the most pleasant experience this game has to offer. I for one do not want it removed.

You know there is an option in the settings to turn all-chat off right? I'm pretty sure it's actually off by default.
But how would I type "AYY LMAO" to the enemy team after diving in with Nocturne's ult, blowing up the enemy carry, and flashing out before anyone could respond?
Exactly. I couldn't do it without all chat. My clutch plays would lose half their appeal.
