Asking for Advice- test anxiety and memorization? Organization & short term and & term planning?

Right now, I'm a junior in high school. Right now, I have a 3.35-something GPA and a 25 on my ACT. My guidance counselor convinced me to try to graduate high school with honors next year, so I'll be taking Physics to get the science cred I need and I'll have to get a 27 on my ACT. And I need to raise my GPA to a 3.5

I was diagnosed with GAD about a year ago, and the thing I worry about is taking tests. Sometimes, even when I study, I get psyched out when I go to take the actual tests and I only get a B or something even though I KNOW the material, because I get worried and anxious and I question myself, sometimes on basic, stupid things.

Not only that, but I feel like I have to study for loooooooooong periods of time to observe information. Anatomy is an easy class, or apparently an easy class, but I still struggle with the memorization. I don't know why, but I have trouble retaining information sometimes.

And the thing that drives me CRAZY is when my parents and my sister tell me "I'm being lazy" or, "I just need to try harder." Sometimes, it takes all I can do just to pay attention and focus on what the teachers are saying sometimes. I really am already trying, and I'm worried I'm going to try to grad with honors and I'm not going to be able to meet the criteria.

So... I guess I'm asking advice on the following things:

  • Study tips for taking the ACT test.
  • Tips for studying and retaining information in general.
  • Tips for not getting psyched out or freaked out or nervous when I'm going to take a test
  • Planning day to day things and scheduling, because I'm not very good at those and sometimes I forget things. :P
