Idea: Forge 3 gemstones in to skin of choice worth X or lower

Right now, you either need 10 gemstones for an exclusive skin, or you just change it in to a chest and key.

While the chest and key is still an AMAZING extra reward when you open a hextech chest, it's still a little underwhelming compared to the exclusive skins - although the exclusive skins require 10 of these which would take an insanely long amount of time if you're just getting them from playing.

So, what if we could forge 3 gemstones in to any skin worth 1350 or less RP? Or if that seems too good, 975 or less? The skins wouldn't be exclusive, they're skins a lot of people would have gotten shards for out of chests themselves (you just haven't happened to get the one you want). IDK, I just got my first gemstone and the idea of waiting for 10 seems to be too long, but it feels like throwing away a lucky prize if I just roll it in to a chest and key (and I don't even play Vayne or Annie...). I could fathom trying to wait for 3 of them though.
