What drugs do I need to do, or how much do I need to drink, before I can live in the fantasy world where video games are still made with quality in mind, and where Riot isn't a greedy, shitty company and the game is actually entirely balanced?

The problem with a game where new playable characters are released every so often is that it will never be entirely balanced. Everyone blames Riot, but every other multiplayer online game experiences these issues - Riot's is just on a larger scale because it's in the forefront of more minds. Valve is still tweaking CounterStrike maps from way back when, to make them more fair and balanced and remove bugs.
Face reality - League is never, ever going to be 100% balanced. There are going to always be fringe cases where a champion can build a certain set of items and be ridiculously unstoppable, and when that one gets fixed, another one will be found. It's in the nature of humanity to find the easiest way to accomplish a goal and then exploit that method - whether it's completing work for school or attempting to climb in Ranked Solo/Duo.
P.S. - If Riot were truly greedy, they would make new champions only able to be purchased with real money. They also wouldn't have enacted a loot-crate system to allow people to get skins (that normally cost real money) absolutely free.

If Riot was truly greedy, they would release a F2P game. F2P is the most profitable business model BY FAR, but it destroys quality in the process. If they actually put quality first (as they say they do), they would not be F2P.
And, as far as most MMOs go:
they actually use their test environment to see what will be broken, and change things before it gets released.
When the entire community freaks out about something being broken, they revert the change or nerf the broken thing.
When they make a change to a class that makes the class boring / bad / broken / etc, they scrap the change and make something new.
In League:
we scream and yell for WEEKS about a change being retarded, and Riot goes through with it anyway to spike skin sales on a particular champ / class.
Riot openly admits that Lee is broken, yet also refuses to nerf him because he makes money.
Combine that with the fact that Riot lies just about every public statement they make, spends YEARS doing what an amateur college team could do in a week or two with comparable to superior quality, intentionally breaks champs to make money, buffs champs that don't need it because they're profitable, creates double standards everywhere, and so on... it's hard to listen to people defend Riot and not bust out laughing.
But then, thinking isn't something society really likes all that much, so I'm not surprised.

Niyumi1 votesNo, I've just gotten fed up with all the bullshit. At first I could ignore it, but now I just can't stand it. It's not just League though, it's every fucking game these days, thanks to greedy, shitty developers / publishers.
And yes, I do hate this game. But, unfortunately, there isn't really any other game I can play for more than an hour or two without getting bored anymore. MMOs are all next-level braindead now, I don't really like MOBAs, Overwatch is just as tilting, story games last me a day and then they're done, so on.

This is what I do with league:Pick a certain theme and play champions or champions with skins that fit into that theme
For example :Death knights from WoW - Marauder Alistar/Marauder Ashe
Forsaken - Karthus/Thresh

I've played all the older games so many times I know them all by heart at this point. Not really fun when you know exactly what's goinna happen.
Also WoW is nice from time to time.
I just can't get into WoW anymore. I played it for almost 14 years... but now every class is 2-3 buttons, the grind is even worse, and I just don't enjoy it anymore. They're also ret-conning left and right.
