Why is it that Nidalee's Q is so strong?

Like, honestly, it deals at average 100/150/200/250/300 (+80 AP) damage.

Why is it that click to hit shots cannot be this strong?

Gangplank's Q only deals 20/45/70/95/120 (+100 AD) damage. Sure, it can be used with critical but that's also in late game. Nidalee is safe with her Q and even if she misses, the next Q will still be just as safe and as damaging as the last. But Gangplank needs to be in range and only shoots a regular attack that deals at first only so much more damage. But, even at that, it will be more likely used on minions for the extra CS.

Now, I don't want to say "buff Kassadin's damage" but his Q, none the less, needs a buff. His shield is pathetic. Honestly, it needs to be based off 5% of his current mana. This early game 40 health shield is not going to cut it when I get hit by a early game Nidalee Q. It only shields me 40/70/100/130/160 (+30% AP) which is weak early game and also weak late game.

Taric's stun honestly should be switched around. It's so stupid to have sent out my E that will never deal the max damage it says. Why not the farther the way the enemy, the larger the damage. So, on average, it won't be reduced to the usual 40/70/100/130/160 (+20 AP) which honestly does nothing but stun him. Now, I will say that the damage can be reduced but why not the farther away they get, the more damage it will have? Like, if they are close, it will deal 20/50/80/110/140 (+20 AP) damage and the most it will get to is 60/120/180/240/300 (+40 AP) damage.

Now, I'm just saying and asking this because the kit that Nidalee has is stupid and resembles GP's but is only better since she can also heal herself and others and leaves traps and has cougar abilities that cost no mana... so, yeah.

Because that would be click to win. Nidalee's Q is a skillshot and costs sufficient amounts of mana.

It's a tradeoff. Abilities with rewards that increase over distance (e.g., Nidalee's spear or Ashe's ult) are typically skillshots. They reward you for taking (and making) a longshot. Taric's stun is targeted. Its power increases with lowered distance as a reward for taking a risk (going all in) and encourages him to act as a tank.

Because click to hit always hit. Where nid's q is a skillshot plus you need to hit at max range to get all the damage. Which is rare unless you are practiced at nid.

also her q is kind of low nowadays, she needs to proc the passive in her catform which is usually pretty risky
