I'd say there is a bunch of people down there that could potential be Plat/Diamond but one thing holds them back.
Attitude.
About 15% of silver should be about gold/plat+ but their attitudes hold them back.
I've seen this as well, it's actually surprising how many people might be plat or higher if they just shut the fuck up.
Every so often someone posts saying "I was bronze and I stopped talking every time someone made a mistake and now I'm climbing through gold"

as someone who's only goal for ranked is to get the skin. fuck attitudes of low elo, i wish i could just have chat removed. it does nothing for anyone in ranked. i have rarely seen anyone use it other than for harassing or nitpicking others.
TLDR, gimme a toggle chat feature. i don't care what my team has to say, because its rarely constructive.
