The Suspension of Reality

I mean..... a champion that has one sword in hand in the game, like riven or aatrox or anyone....yet they buy like 4 other weapons...where are they carrying these weapons? How can they benefit from all of them at once? Why can everyone build anything? You telling me Sion can't wear heavier armor than say, Ahri?

Its like, in Heroes of Might and Magic 1, you just had a row of items...in Heroes 3, the champion could only have so many things on each body part.

I feel like if they want to make champions, and their builds, more unique so that they all play very differently, they should just dump their current item system and overhaul it so something that makes more sense.
