Youtube it, people just try to win the game as tryn and just push waves and towers without ever hitting their opponents. SO its more like, what did tryn not do? .--.

:P A challenge started by streamers/youtubers that people are trying in real games where basically tryndamere avoids dealing damage to the opposing team at all cost and simply splitpushes. This also means he can't build item 3077 item 3075 item 3751 item 3087 or use his E if they're in damage range and mindlessly splitpush all game. He can take assists with his W but mustn't deal damage. R.i.p any game with tryndamere doing 0 damage.

Not quite, it started with this video, popularized by this thread. After it got super popular, pros started doing it, and eventually, bans were handed out.

Pacifist Tryndamere is where they will not do damage to the enemy team under any circumstance. They will push minions and towers but not to champions.

Its a thing where tryndamere just splitpushes and doesn't hit enemy champions at all. He ends up with a score like 0/12/0.

To actually answer your question, KBVTV started it.

I think it was his AP Thresh mid video that got him popular on reddit, which got his subsequent videos traction.

To be honest, they are funny, but the builds clearly aren't serious, especially in the case of Zero Damage Tryndamere. That's actually assisting the enemy team, so it's punishable.

The actual strategy is legit. With your ult you can take towers, screw getting kills. But I had one in my game that I reported because he could have easily gotten kills when we ganked top lane and he didn't. He let our teammates die. When he found out he accidentally did damage he quit. The point of no damage tryndamere isn't to do no damage... it's to adopt a playstyle similar to singed, where you KDA doesn't matter because you're focusing on objectives. These copycats are just idiots and don't understand it

It is not a legit strategy. A legit strategy were to proxy, but "no damaged trynd" players will go out of their way to deal any damage. You can still proxy waves, splitpush, and focus on towers, but repeatedly dying because you refused to fight back is too far.

It's a troll and you're trying to justify it. Even the streamer who showcased this admitted it was a troll and never wants to see anybody play this in his game because it's stupid.

I'm not trying to justify it. Read the damn post. I said it was a legit strategy even if it wasn't designed as such if people stopped focusing on the no damage part and instead on the objective taking part. Ffs boards.
