Battle Boss Brand a glimpse at advances for human champions?

What I'm referring to is his recall animation, where he opens his mouth and laughs while flying off into the air. The key point is that he opens his mouth.

Way back during Poppy's rework, Riot gave us a pretty detailed account of the struggles they face when animating characters' faces. This was to explain why Poppy can actually speak and make facial expressions while most other champions, with their smaller faces, cannot.

But Brand's new skin has a laughing animation, not just audio. What I'm hoping is that this is a glimpse into human-sized champions getting more face animations. Galio's rework disappointed me on this aspect, especially since the excuse is that he's too small... Even though he's supposed to be gigantic. But maybe they've decided to try and make facial animations work.
