Hell I played him even before the rework and while I will say the changes made him better, old Vik was already SO underrated. Not only is he a solid champion that can fit into any team comp but the META favors him highly right now. About 5 months ago early aggressive mid laners kept him in check since he has no kill pressure pre-6, now that they are gone however he can dominate the mid lane. I for one think he is one of the healthiest "really good" Champs we have had in a while and wouldn't mind if he stays in the meta for a while.

Agreed. Though right now his item 3198 hexcore is like, 8 AP away from a fully stacked mejais at level 18, I think Riot may need to take a look at that. If you got your death augment pre-6 Viktor had good enough poke/kill pressure though. But he really does fit well in the meta right now. Hell his ult even reveals stealth, it'll shoot lightning at enemies when they're stealthed, revealing their position. Fuck you Akali!

To be honest his Hex Core should be much more powerful than other items. It may only cost 3000 gold but it also takes up his passive entirely. Also it gives AP per level which means Viktor players won't even get perfect Hex Core until 3rd or 4th item.
