Question about other programs when playing League.

So sometimes when im playing League a random program on my computer will have a pop-up notification or an update will happen. The problem is it either force minimizes me or the update force restarts my computer. So i was wondering how to make it so nothing can happen while im playing League, it gets really annoying when it minimizes me in the middle of a teamfight but its even worse when it updates because them im out of the game for 10-15 minutes. I update all the time whenever there is an update but it seems like there is no schedule it is just random. I have Windows 7, so does anyone know of a way to make this stop happening?

Go into the settings for these programs and also windows update... turn off auto-update.

for windows update, do this:

  1. Open start menu, type "update" into search box
  2. Click Windows Update
  3. Go to "change settings"
  4. In the first section titled "important updates" open the first drop down menu
  5. Select your preferred option. I'd recommend the third option "check for updates, but let me choose whether to download and install them" so that they won't auto-download and slow your connection to league. Just make sure you actually get your updates when you have time.
