Can I please just get consistent teams until gold?

Seriously, it feels like I'm being purposely matched with fucking morons. I go on a winning streak, get close to my gold promos (or even reach them) and then lose in absolute blowouts until S5... then repeat the process. I have over 4,000 games in silver despite being able to massively win lane every game, roam to other lanes, control objectives, maintain a 6:1 KDA up until recently, and do my job.

I know people just say to play a carry role and win. But, I highly doubt any of you can 1v5 a fed enemy team while you're only somewhat ahead. If you can, show me a video and prove it, and then I'll just accept the fact that I'm bad. I get frustrated in games easily because of the fact that I have 4,000+ games in silver thanks to morons I'm forced to rely on, and I don't play as well when I get upset. But when I'm coming out of lane 10/2 and bot lane has a combined 15 deaths... I just don't know what I can fucking do anyway.

So, why can't I get consistent teams? Why is my team ALWAYS the one that feeds their asses off? What can I do when I'm the only person on my team that isn't feeding, but the entire enemy team is fed to absurdity? Is there a champ that can reliably 1v5 a fed team? >.>

holy damn haha and I thought I had a lot of games in silver.

Honestly man one major problem for you is probably tilt. Dropping from one division to 4-5 lower is more than shit luck. Idk for me personally I could never reach silver 1 until I was finally ready. Then once I got in It never really left. This season I got demoted a couple of times but got right back in. It took me 3 tries to win gold promos this season and last season but promo games are shit so it is to be expected. Just need to limiting those losing streaks and take a break if you lose 2 or more games in a row.

Oh I can get to silver 1 no problem -- I even placed silver 1 my first season playing ranked. But, if I get anywhere close to those gold promos, it's like a switch gets flipped, and I get matched with people who honestly shouldn't even be playing ranked.

I can be doing fantastic, but still lose. I can do horribly, and still win. Most of the time, I do well, but lose horribly. I just don't really know how I can even think about climbing at all when the determinant factor is other people. >.>

Biggest thing for me was I stopped focusing on other people and just focused on my play. Sounds weird but It worked for me. Really I just changed my attitude when looking at ranked games. I used to just play ranked all the time and got used to treating it like normal. Like I would try hard and play champs I know but would zone out some games or go on losing streaks and keep playing. In those losing streaks I noticed if my team was down 0-2 or 0-5 or something I was already like "well fuck we lost this one". Then I started playing worse, might make fun of my team or just be stuck thinking "if only my team was good". Then after going on a huge losing streak and ending up silver 4 for the first time last season I focused on stopping that behavior, focusing only on my mistakes, and treating each game as important. I mainly stuck with playing support as well as it was my most confident role. But preseason 6 was still the old draft pick (at least when I originally got gold) so I would sometimes play other lanes.

Anyways I stuck with that same philosophy this season and after dropping from gold 5 to silver 5 after placements I was back into gold promos within the first month of season 6. Granted, it took another month to actually get gold... couple demotions and failed promos but I finally got there. Ranked is definitely a process and can be extremely annoying at times, but if you put in the effort ranking up is possible.

I would say just try and chill out and have some fun. Look at the score as "o were down 2-12? we should probably not team fight and only go for picks right now" or "were up 12-2? we should try and push hard or force some fights". Otherwise score really means nothing especially in silver. Games are thrown all the time so just try and win the game no matter the score. Also, don't talk to your teammates unless your saying good job or suggesting strategies. Putting your team or a teammate on tilt instantly lowers your chances of winning. If a teammate starts flamming mute them. I started doing this and omg it has helped a lot. Even in games where I am playing like shit and know I am sucking it still pisses me off when people call me out. And this is how other players feel so I mute people who flame and I don't flame my team and it has lead to a lot of team comebacks.

Anyways, good luck.
