Do names ever unlock for use by others if the account is inactive?

Basically, the title. The name Farore is currently taken, but by an account that has been inactive for almost a year, and has very, very little activity in the last three years. Was just wondering how names work in League, and whether or not that name will ever open up and be available since it's not being used at all.

Would just be nice, since I grew up with Zelda (and Nintendo in general), and most of my names take a lot of inspiration from them -- and Farore (and the fairies that represent her) is one of my favorite characters from Zelda.

Thanks for any help if you clear this up for me. ^^

The names do become active again eventually. how long until it's available is a different story. I think you can look up a site that lets you check that but I don't remember what it was or how valid it was.

I submitted a ticket about this, I was told that is depends on the age and level of the account. Put in for the name change, worst thing that'll happen is it isn't available and you can't get it. Even if accounts show they are taken, you can still acquire them.
