Before you make a post about champion balance...

Ask yourself this Did they snowball? Did they get massively ahead? Did you itemize properly? Did they counterpick you? Did they have a better comp then you? and finally, the hardest question of them all...

were they a better player than you?

But riven has to much damage, how else would she be 23/0/5 at the 5 minute mark!

Did they snowball? Yes. Did they get massively ahead? Yes. Did you itemize properly? No. Did they counterpick you? Yes. Did they have a better comp then you? Yes.

were they a better player than you? #HELL NO!

I'm Chalenjour. Not even doublefaker can beat me, so it must be the champion. My logic is flawless. So hurry up and gut this OP PoS. Ruins every game they're in. Seriously, to hell with Rammus .

In my opinion, even though I am new, there is always a way to stop a champion considered, "OP" by capitalizing on their mistakes, usually people in lower elos will often make mistakes, but if you allow them to snowball, then your team must have done something wrong because no one's defense is impeccable. Just because a champion is fed doesn't really mean that that champ is necessarily OP, but I guess it all depends on your perspective and understanding of how the game works.

Did they snowball? They played Ekko. Did they get massively ahead? Were already ahead after picking Ekko. Did you itemize properly? Tank still works, AD Ekko can work. AP Ekko definetly works. Did they counterpick you? What doesn't Ekko counter. Did they have a better comp then you? Nope, they just had Ekko. and finally, the hardest question of them all...

were they a better player than you? They went negative 0/11/6. Still ended up winning them the game. Thank god he was better than me by playing a champion WHO:

Has 2 gap-closers(E and Ult Travel)

A Slow

% Damage

A Stun

A Zhonyas

Ability to build basically whatever items and still do absurd damage

A Barrier

A overly buffed Self Heal

A speed boost

On hit damage via basic attacks

Did I mention you can't see his W til it forms the bubble and can be cast from his turret out into the middle of mid lane at level 1 and whose E automatically hits you if you are in its absurd range.

A very annoying voice

But no that's ok, he was just better than me because I picked one of the 100 champions who come with!

A knockup

No gap closers

An ult that does the same amount of damage his ult does if i stand still for 3 seconds whereas he can just instantly press R, heal through my ult and one shot me with his.

I think my biggest issue with champion balance comes from consistently not doing well against said champion. like, in my personal opinion I don't find garen balanced because even with very little damage items, he can still ult me for 500+ damage without a mark. I find him very frustrating to play against because I don't know how to counterplay that. I am not a very good player, and I'm still learning how to abuse his weakness by kiting him properly. but I understand that he isn't "OP". I just think he is very toxic to play against. I also believe that zed and yasuo are unbalanced. I find myself constantly getting shoved in, while taking massive poke from a manaless champion. I find their gap closing incredibly difficult to counterplay as well, on top of the burst. and I am still learning to play the game, which is why it's very frustrating to play against these champions. I feel like certain matchups are very unbalanced skill aside. and I think a lot of "newer" players feel the same way, because we aren't good enough to just beat our opponents through skill.

I hope this made sense. sorry for any poor grammar. I'm not saying this post doesn't have a good message I am just trying to explain the mindset of a newer player who finds some matchups unbalanced. thank you and have a good day

"They" was an Yasuo (as always), who lost lane vs a Vel'Koz and piggybacked on his jungler's Dragon Kicks. "They" made my ADC usless with a single windwall in the teamfight forcing him to either do nothing or risk going out of position to hit be able to hit anything. "They" complained in all-chat, as an Yasuo, that I as Vel'Koz was playing a 'noob' champ. And 'they' still won because there was always someone, be it Aartrox or Lee Sin, to set their ulti up.

And that's my problem. Yasuo didn't snowball, lost lane HARD against someone he counters almost fully and still hit like a ton of bricks lategame with 2 crit items and a tanky build.

And why must this guy be in every game he isn't banned? I don't even want him on my team, this kit is unabalanced as hell. Why must he have double-crit AND a shield that you can't remove unless it's at 100% and defends him. Let us pop the shiled with harrass, like Garen regen or Malza passive. Place some charges on his E because this mobility is ridiculous. Yas may be spamming that Mastery emote but I am not impressed when he jukes all skillshots when there is a wave right nexto to him. Those are instant fixed dashes, man. I play a lot of Zed, I sure as hell know when something LOOKS impressive but is your kit acting as traning wheels. And maybe add something resembling a cooldown to an ult he doesnt NEED TO AIM for, if another player hits a knock-up.

Zed STILL BROKEN EVEN AFTER USELESS NERFS! I PICKED AD AurelionSol MID EVEN THOUGH I'VE NEVER PLAYED HIM BEFORE AND GOT COMPLETELY DESTROYED!!!! I DIED 5 TIMES IN THE FIRST 10 MINUTES BECAUSE I WAS CONSTANTLY PUSHING LANE! USELESS JUNGLE WOULDN'T GANK HIM UNDER HIS OWN TURRET! AND THE SUPPORT FED! AND THE ADC CALLED ME A BAD NAME! ITS NOT FAIR! NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ask yourself this Did they snowball? yes, like 6games in a row Did they get massively ahead? ofc, when someone snowballs Did you itemize properly? yes. Did they counterpick you? depends, when for example i playJhin and someone plays Rengar i could leave the game. Did they have a better comp then you? often. and finally, the hardest question of them all...

were they a better player than you? i dont know, i cant judge if someone is better than me by one game. but if the same fotm champ gets fed in like 6-7games in a row (dont care if in my team or enemy team) then i highly doubt thats because of the player behind that champion.
