Ross and Barry from GG explain their first League experiences...

And they were about what you expect from any new player to the game. Ross played on the second day it was in open beta and was not good and was told by a player "Oh my god you stupid %%%%%% get off this game" and he hasn't played since. Barry was new and the game and it has no means to adequately teach new players how to properly play the game

If these two people, who play video games for a living, were put off by this crap don't you think these are two things Riot should be looking into to fix so average casual everyday gamers aren't pushed away from the game? These are probably the two most common complaints I see here on the forums regarding the new player experience. How hard would it be for Riot to create a proper tutorial or sandbox mode so that new players don't get flamed for being so clueless when they start? How about flagging players who use racist or homophobic slurs and punish them regardless of whether they were reported or not?

I know Ross loves Wow, but he hasnt played since the beta? I mean he should have tried it post beta.

Funhaus Joel plays league, but prefers Heroes to it, he hasnt said why, but im assuming its just easier and less stressful.
