elo hell isnt real
If Master/Challenger smurfs can breeze through all lower divisions with ease & if you also acknowledge the existence of elo-boosting, then how can elo-hell exist? You just have to be overwhelmingly more skilled than your teammates and opponents to be able to carry 1 vs 9 games. Just being "a bit better" doesn't quite cut it. You have to play the game masterly, with practically no room at all for a single mistake.
What's elo hell about it? Enemy was way ahead in gold all game and you guys seem to have come back at the end (good job!). I take it you got blasted by Veigar and they ended the game off of that?
..and what about all the other games in your match history?
I will take solace in the fact that at least my shitty teammates didnt win either.
There isn't Elo Hell.
I really don't think there is an "Elo Hell" in the general sense that most people think of. I used to, but not any more. When you understand that you aren't good, and learn more efficient ways to play, then you will climb. When you realize "oh, what i'm doing isn't helping the team even though i have alot of kills", then you will climb. Another tip, don't play obvious losses. Is your team fighting in champ select? take your time penalty and try again. happens 3 times in a row? oh well, better luck tomorrow. Got me out of bronze.
The game is more than having a good K/D/A. You can have a poor KDA and know when to drag/ tower/ baron, and come out on top. Also, don't flame. People are sensitive and nobody wants to win for somebody who is harassing them.
I started to analyze my mistakes, and went on a 14 win streak as malz. Not focusing on kills, but cs, teamfights and helping/ ganking lanes that needed help. analyze your mistake, i.e. (I should've done "X", then fix it next time), then you will get out of Elo hell.
But that's just like, my opinion or whatever.
Random number generators that are part of the ranked system are not specifically tuned to make you lose. Both teams have be equal chance to get trolls, afkers, and people who thought they qued up for a bot match. The question in ranked is the same as it has always been. How can you, personally, udderly destroy your lane opponent and transform that into a nexus kill on any match, and how can you motivate your team to put down the burrito and mountain dew in there hands so that they don't have to play with there toes.
