Why bother?

Doesn't matter what I do, it's just how "balanced" each team is, and what team has the ***** that goes 1/15. Not allowed to play a champ I enjoy, because they just can't compete with the very "balanced" 30 or so meta champs. Not allowed to have fun or enjoy myself because my team is entirely incapable and makes the game a chore. Also not allowed to have fun because some braindead bullshit like Cassi, Yas, Jax, Yi, any ADC, Anivia, Annie, Pan or something ruins the game and makes it entirely unplayable.

I also know that Riot isn't suddenly going to start caring beyond income potential, and I know the community isn't suddenly going to demand that Riot stop money grubbing. So why do I bother getting upset, or pretend anyone on the forums would give a fuck? Just a waste of time.

I really wish I could quit this game, but there just isn't anything enjoyable anymore, and I actually like playing with people instead of being alone all the time.

I feel your frustration.

After playing for upwards of 7 years myself, I definitely have had times where I feel terrible playing after having a bad experience against a particular champion, or a group of players who made the game a toxic environment.

Though I understand your frustration, sometimes it is better to take a step back and take a break for a little while. You mention you like playing with friends, I do as well. When I'm having a particularly bad day playing alone, it's always nice to play with some friends and let off some steam in ARAM or blind pick.

I don't believe Riot is necessarily money hungry, I'm happy they are one of the few companies that do microtransactions in an appropriate and respectable way.
I dislike pay to win and I'm happy that money can really only buy enjoyable cosmetics. The only slightly pay to win aspect (rune pages) is being changed to remove the pay to win aspect.

Best of luck to you on your future games, just know that it's only natural to have a frustrating game every once in awhile
