Riot Hippalus (sp?) Stated explicitly about 2-3 months ago that there would be a 2 for 1 rune page sale "absolutely definitely without question before the end of the year".
Since snowdown ends AFTER the end of the year, it seems safe to assume that the only way this could be true is if it's included then. But that's awfully short notice ;)
Any Riot comment? Has it been delayed?

I did the last two-for-one rune page sale and got 4 pages then. While they aren't perfectly filled out (aka:I should spend more on runes to make them better), I've realized that I want more pages for more edge cases that aren't covered by my existing pages. I'll get the runes throughout next year, but I want to get as many pages as possible now.

I'm back: nope, there wasn't a rune page sale. There was double ip weekend and bonus rp on purchases, and lots of skins on sale, but nothing about rune pages or runes.
