As long as GP has his Q the way it is he can never be considered some king of pirates

Pirates are adventurous, bold, and brave.

Being able to shoot someone with a point and click skill and have 0 interaction with them doesn't scream pirate at all. You're better off putting that on a new champ that's scared of fighting.

Same goes for Tryn and Pantheon

Pantheon suppose to be a spartan who normally are built tough for fighting and dueling people showing no mercy. Chunking a spear at someone and stunning them w/e they get near you and running isn't very..spartany at all

The only champ who fits some hardcore manly theme is Olaf. He's a viking who throws an axe at your face and bashes your face in and says fuck you to everyone when he ults and continues rampaging

EDIT: By this post I meant how they're usually played not how their kits are. You never see a pantheon trying to fight you they just mash Q till you back or low enough to go in. You never see a tryn fight until he reaches his BS spike otherwise he runs from any conflict. Same for GP. They don't fight you they run all the time. His Q should've been a skill shot

I don't know what sorta pirates you've been seeing. Pirates aren't bold, they're crafty. Adventurous, yes, but for the treasure, not for adventure.

Pirates are rapists, pillagers, and thieves. They take every angle and every advantage, no matter how small, to get what's jingling in your coinpurse. Not only would that pirate shoot you in a heartbeat with a pistol when you can't fight back, he'd take the clothes off you're back when you're dead, use it to masquerade in the enemy's crew, and poison them all while they sleep.

And that's okay, I love ruthless, pragmatic pirates.

So chucking your axe and running = realistic viking but a spartan jump on you slamming a spear into you and jabbing you = non realistic?

true. but panth is a spartan, some of the most skilled fighters ever. so the stun i think is something they would use. Pirates dont really have any 'rules' in fighting, so bringing a gun to a knife fight (or staff, sword, etc) seems piraty to me. and Tryn will fight until he literally has no life and will still keep fighting. thats pretty badass.

You guys are missing the point. He said it's meh to have point and click abilities that even small child can hit without practice. Clicking on someone and letting the game do all for you isn't nor piratish nor spartanish.

Olaf on the other hand goes guts out and don't give a f about any cc or anything and throws an axe at you and than kill you....

The thing about this game is that skillshots always were and always will be more enjoyable that point'n'click abilities.

i dont agree on the gangplank part but i agree on the pantheon part. spartans are meant to be really though fighters but pantheon actually isnt even a fighter. hes so weak at fighting that there are only a few champs in the entire game that he can take on 1v1, and he can neither run away nor chase people. he is literally his ultimate to catch people for his team.

sure spartans were pretty smart strategists too, so catching people from unexpected angles is probably one of their speciality too, but i dont know, its just weird for pantheon to be such a weakling.
