Please they are not even remotely the same thing, several champions have been popular throughout their entirety, even at times when they were weak (Zed, JInx, Lee Sin, Yasuo, etc.)

For fucks sake Lee Sins been shit for 2 seasons straight and he's still in the top 10 most popular picks.
