is kog not supposed to be fun because you can just spam his 0.5cd ult? what about swain, all you do is press r and then just throw out your w until it hits. is that not supposed to be fun?

if a character is bad in this gamemode people aren't going to play them because it's just not fun to just get stomped by someone that picked a better character

Kog and Swain both have counterplay and Kog is even kinda fun to play against on top of it. Against Shaco on the other hand, you cant do shit about him because we have no reliable true vision outside of wards, which you would need dozens of. There is no skill involved with the Shaco QWQWQWQWQWQWQWQWQWQWQW combo, and it has next to no counterplay since he can do hoiw W from a safe distance and is gone before you know it.

W is jack in the box dude. So if he is jumping at you, dropping the weakest pet/trap in the game them running then he is doing it wrong.

E is two shiv poison which had the 1:1 ap ratio

Champion kits are BROKEN in URF. They're not fun to play AGAINST. They never are. What's fun is playing a broken kit.

Then you realise you can dodge all of it or just hide behind Minions against all of these. Counterplay is the word you should look for. If there is counterplay, its ok. There is no counterplay to shaco W spam, since its a point and click nuke, and his Q is an instant blink with invisibility.

item 3341 allows you to deal with Shaco as long as you realize that once he's used his E (his W is his trap skill), he's got nothing

Just because the counterplay isn't ''dodge this'' doesn't mean it's non-existent

Also, his Q only goes on CD AFTER he's come out of invisibility, so it's not like he can Q in, E and Q out. He's gonna be visibile for a while either as he goes in or as he retreats

Is Shaco hard to play against in ARAM? Yes. Like a shitload of other champions. Some champions simply aren't very well equiped to deal with him, but that's true for almost everyone.

Medium ranged mages can't reliably deal with long range poke champions Long range poke champions can't reliably deal with super mobile assassins Low mobility champions can't reliably deal with high CC champions

Yeah, but even in URF, most champions have counterplay and ways you can play around them. Shaco just blinks, nukes you and is gone before you can do anything, with a big AP ratio nuke and invisibility. The only way to beat him would be if you can nuke him down with one single hit, because you wont get more than that

Add Sona to that list. Full AP Sona is one of the most broken things I have seen in URF. I had a friend complaining that his fingers were extremely sore after 2 URF Sona games.

I am actually having a lot of fun this time around. I didn't like it as much last year, but right now its almost like the first time. Nice Teammates too. And I am the kind of person who plays all kinds of champions....

URF would be fun if you didn't see the same champions every game that can 2 shot you or just outright be unkillable while doing the same (Riven, Ekko, for instance). I could understand if they were just playing them for fun (e.g. Karthus) but it's not fun playing a grey screen simulator every time you move an inch out of the spawn platform.

I actually find it serendipitous that you mention those exact champions, as I have yet to see an Ekko OR Riven, but have had a Karthus on my team. Sure i've only played like 5 games so far, but thats 5 out of EVERY game :/

Ekko really isn't that much of an issue, he's a lot like Yasuo, his playstyle doesn't really change much because he already has pretty low cd's and mana costs so it doesn't bump him up much on the OP scale.

Indeed, Clones are up when they go down, I was cc'ed so hard while invis, and they kept attacking the clone because in their head "THERE'S NO FUCKING WAY HE'S STILL GOING INVISIBLE WITH THIS MUCH CC!"

Add TahmKench and Anivia to that list. I had a game with both of them on my team and they literally never let anyone leave the base. The problem is we couldn't surrender either so we literally could never leave the spawn platform for 20 minutes.

You would be surprised at how many captains fail to ban even one of the top-tier OP champs. I had a couple games yesterday where Fiora and Mundo were bans.

I took the opportunity to show them the error of their ways with Sona and Eve. I doubt they'll make the same mistake again.

I'm aware that some people ban some strange champs. I had a game yesterday where Sona wasn't banned. Needless to say the enemy Nasus who went bot didn't like me and found another lane to be in.

Taric is a fun pick and while he is not op and his w and q don't do much, putting bastion on a hypercarry and stunning priority targets and you will probably hand them a penta especially if you ult correctly. Did this with Taric and Fiora and it was fun.
