Ever since I gave up on climbing and stopped playing ranked..

I've met better people/players in general. I've made about 5 new friends. I've had better games (as in games that both teams are good and not one-sided stomps) Gotten better at the game myself Given at about 10ish people tips about things they didn't know Shockingly had less premades/duos in my games/trolls/afks/net issues (Premades are still around and still an issue but for me it hasn't been as of late)

In summary I've just started enjoying this game a lot less since I flat out gave up on ranked. The game as a whole just seems a lot better

I don't see the same champs every game First teamfights aren't started in champ select You can actually joke around with someone without them lashing out at you same goes for helping them

I've climbed from bronze 5 to silver I twice..(eventually just went downhill and im in like S4 now) afterwhich I just gave up. Honestly, in ranked it seemed like the game matched you up for defeat. It seemed like once you finally get going it's just the game giving you a false sense of security to mess you up all over again.

Matchmaking was terrible: You always seemed to get the worst possible people in promos..and average/barely average outside of them

Champ select has no order: People are so stubborn and can't learn to get along. "You didn't ban this champ so i'm going to feed" or "GG we lose they got this champ" btw people nobody cares if you pick at the same time, order pick means order pick. Top to bottom is who has rights.

Chat is filled with trash: Constant flaming and raging and people just don't know how to hide the chat bar or hit the ignore button. "You said mean things to be so im going to cry about it in chat to the other team who's just laughing as they get their free win"

First blood in ranked = both teams saying GG First blood in normals = both teams saying get rekt

Now, I know normals has these issues too but from my experience I've found in ranked it's 10x more harsh than in normals, it's not even the fact ranked is more competitive it's just the fact that people in ranked have the mindset that they're a god but the moment they realize they have 0 power over anything they go into a defensive state to try and escape that reality.
