Should I be duo-queuing ranked?
Game after game I typically am the most fed player on the map, or a close second. Game after game, no one else on my team can get anywhere close to matching the two best players on the enemy team.
I'm far below a 50% win rate. I consistently get excellent K/D/As, often have more than 100 more farm than anyone else on the map if I'm adc (and if I'm jungle typically have a high gank success rate), I focus objectives over kills most of the time (admittedly I've made mistakes chasing a few times), and overall feel like the way I'm playing and the fact that I'm fed in the large majority of my games should result in a win rate of about as much above 50% as I am actually below 50%.
I'm attributing it to luck. My sample size is incredibly small, we're talking like 30 games, 10 of which were placements that I went 8-2 in (yes, despite an 8-2 start and 30 games total I'm well below 50% win rate). I figure it's mostly bad luck that the good top/mid seems to always be on the enemy team and that as adc/jungle the enemy top/mid who gets fed can beat me if I'm equally fed. I know I make mistakes, I know I miss skillshots and don't always make the perfect decision, etc... but I think overall I'm better than the elo I'm at. I figure eventually it should even out and those tops and mids should end up on my team and I should go on winning streaks similar to the losing streaks I get on.
I'm not asking for a duo-partner here. I'm just wondering - is duo-queue the logical choice to break this kind of funk? Get a top/mid main who consistently gets leads as well, and share the burden of carrying? I'm hesitant because duo-queue artificially raises your MMR for matchmaking and I already am consistently matched against enemies that are better than my allies (if I duo will the difference be even worse in the remaining lane?).
