Can someone explain the "balance" in this game to me?
I just don't understand in what world this game is balanced.
First off, the easiest champions in the game (ADCs, champs like Xin and Yi, etc.) have some of the strongest equipment available to them, and have absolutely no thought or effort involved in the stupidly high amounts of damage they pump out. You can't block auto attacks or anything, you can't dodge them, so there's not even a method of counterplay.
Secondly, we have mages like LB, Annie, Liss and so on who have abilities that are targeted, yet do 3-4x the damage of skillshots like Syndra's Q / W / E. Last night I played a match with Syndra against LB. Early game, I beat the snot out of LB, and killed her three times -- eventually, I was 5/1. After that, LB could just click on me and delete me, and so could the rest of their team. No dodging, nothing I could do. Just sat and watched as I died, and then LB teleported away. Ended the game 7/6.
Third, we have tanks. They're next to invincible, and require a 3-4 person effort to down them, yet they can 100-0 people with relative ease -- how is that even remotely fair?
I just don't understand how this game is balanced, when the easiest champions are, by far, the strongest, and tanks can run around killing people just as fast as a carry can, while being invincible. Can someone explain to me how this game is even remotely balanced? I'd sure love to know.
... Or, is it that Riot just doesn't care, and is more concerned with humping their diamond-lined wallets than actually looking at their game and attempting to balance it? I mean, not many people would pay through the nose if they had to actually try in order to win, right? Gotta think on how to make the most profit, in an "F2P" game.
