I like the feel of accomplishment, but I still do not like the grind.

Take a good look. So far, I should have around 82 in this list. And I'm proud that I've gotten this far in my 2 years of playing League. Should I be further, obviously yes. But, I'm just sitting here thinking, "now i still have 44 (+) to get before I say I got them all". I don't like the thought of having to get 242,700 IP for the rest. I only gain a maximum of 100 IP a win and 70 IP a loss. Counting losses, and 1 win a day (with at max) (and where I play enough to get 300 IP in losses, so 550 a day) it would take me over 400 straight days of play. (Happy its almost done, sad that I most likely won't get to do this due to parents who love me and a family that would rather me be active than on my computer 24/7 trying to finish this.) I've made it my goal to get all the champs. Not because I want them but because I'd like to play any of them whenever I feel like it. The grinding I've put into this just to reach that goal has almost made me want to give up. I mean, after this, I'll finally start buying runes and stuff. Might even go up to Silver, Gold, or whatever if I try now that I'd finished grinding. Who cares really?

Now, imagine. Imagine a new player coming in.

"Ew, look, bonus power for my champs? Yes." – Buys teir 1 runes

"Look at this guy, he looks so cool. But his price... Oh well." – Buys expensive champ not on Free Week "I hate this guy." – No more refunds

"Wow, I'm tired of this, I'll never catch up to my (friends, siblings, peers, whatever) because I came in so late." – I actually had a friend who felt the same. Went as far and getting champs he'd had fun with on free week and mained Xerath but wasted so much IP on teir 1 and 2 runes. He's now back on WoW and HotS. Even my little cousins in elementary school would had loved to play League but their dad who also tried it knows better and told them how it was and now they play HotS but say they love your characters.

Riot can fix this. Too bad they don't care.
