So hey, how do I not get upset while playing?

So, in League, I do really well when I'm in a good mood and having fun, but do very, very badly when I get into a bad mood. I don't know what it is about this game, but it can put me in a bad mood very quickly and easily -- to the point that I start yelling at my screen at times. I need a way to keep my temper under control. It's weird, because normally it's next to impossible to even slightly irritate me... but League just takes that thought and laughs at it, then makes me freak out.

That's the point of this post, really; to try and find out if there's anything I can do to not get so upset by the game, and to have fun even when I'm being stomped by bullshit things like auto attacks and champs that roll their face and automatically win.

How do I not get upset? When really frustrating, bullshit things happen, how can I just blow it off and keep having fun? How can I stay positive? (Lux)

Treat everything as a joke. I have huge anger issues when it comes to losing in anything competitively- but ever since I started treating everything like a joke, I've lashed out less and less. Compliment your team constantly, laugh off attempts that people insult you, compliment the enemy for doing a slight outplay, realize your mistake of getting hit by combos and laughing it off by saying you will do better next time.

Sometimes you met toxic player better to mute them and don't let them affect your gameplay

this is what solved it for me - study how matchmaking works. they have it set up so everyone loses around 50%. no matter what you do, you are going to lose half.

that means every time you win you are going to have to lose for it later, but for every loss you will get a win.

it makes me feel much better about losses to know that i will be getting a future win for them.

Take it super serious...all the time...and just remember, you will only win 51% of your matches if you are where you belong...if that goes up, your doing good! Just play calm, expect to win but when you don't, drop the feelings at that game and move on to the next!

You mean like watching a Voli 1v2 and end up with more health after it's over?

If yelling at your screen makes you feel any better at all then it is fine to do so. Expressing emotion is fine and normal as long as you do so in a way that doesn't harm others. It would only be a problem if you started using chat as a way to let out your feelings.
