"We put quality before money!"

... Openly admits Lee is broken, but refuses to nerf him for his "contribution to competitive" (AKA, he makes money).

Won't rework actual problem champions that automatically win lane or do nothing all game, instead reworking champs that no one plays so you can make money off them.

Won't actually balance their game because broken champs make money while balanced ones do not.

Won't actually put in effort towards reworking old champs when an AMATEUR team could do it in a week or two.

So that's what quality looks like now, huh.

People downvote literally everything I say, even if it's positive and cheery.

Sigh. Still going on with this huh? Still won't admit you're mistaken? I thought not. Because nobody is correct here right, you're the "enlightened one". The only intelligent person on the boards correct? Clearly everyone else is obviously an idiot?

The definition of insanity is repeating the exact same things over and over and expecting a different response.

Never said I was the only intelligent person on the boards -- hell, I'm sure there are a lot of people who make me look like some kind of idiot. But, the generally accepted opinion is that Riot gives a fuck, when everything they do shows they don't. Individual developers care, and I'm still giving the guy who reworked Dragontrainer Lulu on his own time kudos hardcore, but Beck and the suits couldn't care less. As long as it's making money, everything else is irrelevant to them.

Just letting people know they don't actually give a fuck, while venting about bullshit games at the same time. I don't expect any kind of response or result, I'm just kind of venting at people being stupid and preaching about how much Riot cares when they actually don't.

Actually what're saying it's stating the contrary: imagine how much more money they would make just balancing the game and reworking every champion, so people actually buy more on every champion and not just the few ones considered OP, game being balanced would also mean people enjoying it more so other people coming to the game = more money again, and so on. They literally have no clue on how balancing it, that's all.

If they reworked every champion by next Tuesday (28th), they would see a spike of income, and then a plateau. If they space out reworks, they get a spike of income each time. Over time, the second method makes a lot more money, but hurts game quality. This is why Riot does it the way they do.

As for balance, Jhin has a 40%+ pickrate (last I checked). If they release a skin for him and say, 70% of that playerbase buys it (28% of all League players). That's a TON of money. Now, say every champ has a 5% pickrate exactly. Riot releases a skin for 3 champs, and 70% of each playerbase buys it (3.5% of League players per champ), you're making a LOT less money since only 10.5% of the playerbase is buying a skin. Which method is more profitable? Skins in a balanced game, or skins in a game where there are "OP" champs that go wild and are FOTM for months?

Riot knows exactly what they're doing. They're not idiots. They're just run by greedy fucks.
