About championship and victorious skins

So Imagine a player who only starts playing this year, imagine he/she gets really into Shyvanna or Riven, enough that they want to buy a skin for them, but guess what, the ultimate skin for that character (championship) is forever gone, you can never have it, should have started playing and spending money years ago

Same with Victorious skins

Now I understand that these skins (and legacy ones in general) are supposed to be a reward for current players, I understand that it looses what makes it special when everyone has it.

I play Warframe and the proto armor was special and unique (since they said it would be a limited time sale), but then an year later they put it on sale again and I felt cheated, I felt like that exclusive reward for the truest and most loyal players was turned into a banal thing for everyone, and I was angry

But the thing is, I was also someone who didn't get to play a certain event in the game (busy with school) that gave you an awesome shotgun, and an exclusive one, and I also felt cheated, just because I couldn't play in those few days; I was excluded from receiving something awesome and unique, and then I was officially on both sides...

Understanding both the frustration of turning something exclusive into something banal and on the side of not getting the chance to get something in the first place...

And I came to this conclusion... I hurts ALOT more to never getting the chance to get something then to have it be less special!

I would like to ask your opinion on this subject, but do try to understand the other party, don't just spam your side without regard for the other.

Let's think of solutions for it to be special AND available for everyone

i think victorious skins have to go untouched even though im missing victorious elise and shes one of my fav champs. those were rewards for GOOD PLAY and not only for playing at the moment those skins were released. everything else can be sold in legacy vault openings idc

Champ skins come out of the vault every year with the exception of Champ Riven... Victorious is a statement skin - it means you were Gold or Higher in that season. Those are and always should be restricted.

Championship skins always return (with the exception of Riven who may return in the future), but Victorious skins are rewards for those that reached a certain Rank during the season... they should never be available unless you hit that mark during that season.
