so i wanted to know if the concept i posted about a couple champion helped you guys in any way with the newest champion, this was posted several months ago so i thought it was possible and it would be cool if it was.

concept there aren't any couples in League of Legends that actually have interactions with eachother and are shown to love eachother outside of the books Some Inspiration: Directly From Connie and Steven in the Cartoon Network Show "Steven Universe" just gender swapped and much older. Their relationship is extremely cute and actually shows what a healthy relationship should be so i drew inspiration from the for Astray and Astrea.

One of the issues i had was with their Title i know it doesn't fit along with the ult name so bare with me.

Personalities & Relationship:

Astray(Male): Astray has a carefree, energetic and childlike personality. He has a tendency to make promises quickly yet he always keeps them.

Astrea(Female): Astrea has a nurturing personality with a calm, reassuring disposition. She tends to be very overprotective of astray.

Simple/TLDR Lore: Astray and Astrea are lover's who were getting married in secret during the "Ruined King" crisis, upon the blessed isles being turned into a desolate waste land astray and astrea lost their body's to the black mist. Their souls then both inhabited a suit of armor, making them inseparable. The armor over time has begun to change shape depending on which one is in control of it and their control over it is enough to give them their own separate weapons. Their only wish is to remain together and protect one another from those that wish to keep them apart.

They sometimes will separate so they may fight beside eachother under extreme circumstances.

Passive: Twin Souls

Astray and Astrea's can combo their abilities with eachother when seperated to create a new ability.

Twin Spirit Impact

Cooldown: 20 Seconds

Pressing and holding Q+E while seperated will cause Astrea and Astray to run to eachother and chanel for a short time.

At the end of the chanel, Astrea will charge forward with Astray behind her, if astrea makes contact with an enemy champion she will stun them and astray will blink behind the target, slashing them and dealing physical damage.

When using their E while separated the AI will jump infront of the player controlled Twin and use the ability imidiately, if the AI is Astrea it will protect them both.

Q: Give Me Your Strength

Astray: Astray lunges in a target direction with his sword pointed forward dealing damage to all enemies in a cone at the end of the lunge (this resets Astrays AA timer) Cooldown:16/16/12/10/8 Damage:50/80/100/140/180(100% AD)

Astrea: Astrea throws her Shield at the ground and jumps backwards, dealing damage to all enemies in a cone starting at the spot she jumped from. Cooldown:16/15/11/9/7 Damage: 40/70/90/130/160(80% AD)

W: Soul Exchange

Cooldown: 2 Seconds unaffected by CDR

Astray and Astrea share a vessel for their souls and can freely switch between who's in control of the vessel, switching their abilities and basic attacks.

Cosmetic Note: One controls the weapon and the other controls the body.

Tool Tip: Using this ability while seperated will change who you control, their cooldowns will count down seperately while seperated or together. Switching takes .5 seconds.

E: I Will Protect You

Astray: Astray asks Astrea to create an ethereal shield to protect him from the next basic attack or ability within 3 seconds. Cooldown: 15/10/6 seconds

Astrea: Astrea calls upon Astray to create an ethereal sword that slashes infront of her, dealing damage and knocking enemy's a short distance back. Cooldown: 15/10/6 Damage: 50/80/120(80% AD)

R: Starcrossed Separation

Cooldown: 60 Seconds upon merging.

Astray and Astrea can separate from their vessels and work independently from eachother, they cannot be separated for more than 3 minutes, they cannot wander to far away from eachother and if one takes to much damage they immediately come back together.

When they come back together through the other dying the player controlled twin(not the AI) will take damage equal to half of the AI controlled Twins full health bar. This can be mitigated by switching places and fleeing when one is about to die or by pressing R without Alt and forcing them to come back together.

While separated they will follow eachother closely, one in front(controlled by the player) and one in back(control by AI), if you press W you switch places, you can use Alt+R to control the AI's movement commands. This means you can also use Alt+Q or Alt+E to use the AI's Q or E instead of the one your controlling.

Tool Tip: The AI will automatically attack an enemy champion that attacks you, you can also command the AI to attack minions but it will not do it on it's own.

Notes and such: You do not have to control them both constantly, instead the AI is programmed to follow the player very closely and the only reason you'd have to control them both is if you sent one off to face check a bush or something, otherwise they work together in battle quite easily with just W and E.

While separated the AI controlled twin has 1/4 the health,armor and magic resist of the original.

The system for their health works as follows and is based on a percentage of health remaining system so they don't have infinite health.

If you have 1000 health the AI will have 250 health, if the AI looses 50 health that means they only have 80% of their health left so when the AI switches in they'll only have 800 health instead of maximum. The opposite also applies, if when you switched out you had 500 out of 1000 that means you had 50%, when you switch the new AI will only have 125 instead of 250. This is to prevent them from being able to switch in and out to return to full health. In addition only the one the player controls has health regeneration and can regenerate health by ability's, potions or other means. If they switch while a potion is active the effect is lost.

They share the effects of other buffs such as Red Buff, Blue Buff, Rift Herald, Baron and Dragons but only the player controlled one will regenerate from Ocean Drake for example.

I'd suggest making a key binding especially for them to make it easier to control them at once buuuut i'm not sure if that's possible.

Combos, Counterplay and Intended play styles!

A simple combo is to play as Astray and do the following.

Q+E+W+E+Q Doing this will cause Astray to lung, Astea to jump infront of him, them to switch, astray to push the enemy back and astrea to jump back to safety. Then you can use Stardust Impact to go in again most likely for the kill if separated. These can all be switched and replaced together though so the combos are probably pretty up there in numbers.

They're movement abilities are very predictable and easily punished so simple CC would be very effective, when separated it becomes harder since you can't lock them both down but AOE damage will hurt them really bad, brand is a great counter pick to them because his ultimate will always be able to bounce multiple times when they are separated and if he CC's the player controlled one they can't switch back. Targeted CC and large AOE CC/Abilities will be the bane of their existence.

Their intended playstyle is as hit and run fighter's/assassins, they don't do much in terms of burst but it's easy for them to jump on someone do a little then go back just not to the extent of champions like Ekko, Zed and Leblance who blink instead of dash but just as predictable as said champions. They don't have any healing or shields so i doubt they'd be good tanks but you never know.

Voice lines and Unique interactions:

If astray is charmed by Ahri Astrea: "Touch him again and i'll kill you seductress"

If Astrea is Charmed by Ahri Astray:"Look, i know she's pretty but she's mine."

Either under Illaoi's Test of Spirit "(other ones name) Will keep me grounded, my resolve has already been tested."

Certain taunts and actions will make them interact with eachother when separated.

Dance: They will slow dance together

Joke Astrea: Astrea will play with astray, making him laugh and blush.

Joke Astray: Astray will tell a joke and cause astrea to to spit out a red substance(health potion)

Backing: They will hug eachother tightly and nuzzle their faces together and just before they kiss they'll finish backing.

Astrea upon Astray's Death: "I'll tear this world appart to get to the person who did this to you." Astray upon Astrea's Death: Starts to cry in intense pain.

Astray when Astrea is put bellow 20% health: "Don't worry, it'll be okay i promise!"

When either return to life: "I missed you(name here)!"

They will continuously have conversations with eachother, their idle animations causes them to do this, sometimes they'll whisper something to the other that will cause them to blush. Astrea will hide her face and Astray will look the other direction.

I am currently making artwork for them but i'm bad at drawing on a computer so it's kind of hard, i will explain their appearances though just encase.

Astray has very long pink hair, he is an ethereal spirit with the same color.

Astrea has short purple hair, she's an ethereal spirit of the same color.

Their weapons and armor is of course similar to Kalista and other Shadow Isles champions who were made during the calamity, their has sorta of an Ionian look because their armor is fused with them in a more natural way.

I also thought of making them Purple and Blue instead or Blue and Green.
