I want to play ranked but I never know what my ping is gonna be these days. Sometimes it's normal then some days my internet goes to sh*t and other days Rito's crappy servers has everyone attempting to reconnect. I rather not assume I have normal ping then go into a ranked game and all of a sudden it's 1k+
you can ping the servers ip in terminal/cmd im pretty sure
well, there is Speedtest.net, but if the problem is riot's servers, then this wont tell you anything.
You can make a custom game real quick, or you can, in your search bar, type cmd then enter (For Windows, IDK about other os like OSX or Linux). Type "ping google.com", or any website really. Find out what your ping to the website is when your internet is fine (For example, when my internet is running good, i will get about 17 ping to google where I live), and if it's fairly higher, then don't play.
